I have worked in the hospitality industry for about 15 years. Combining work in the industry with my profession as a Digital Analyst is probably the best. Being able to work full-time with analysis of our digital channels and campaigns to create an effect for Sweden's hospitality industry is truly luxurious. Often, follow-up and insight work is what you don't have time for.
What makes Visit Sweden a fantastic workplace?
There are such knowledgeable employees in all different departments who support each other to reach our common goals. It is noticeable that everyone is passionate about tourism, hospitality and travel. It´s extra fun to have employees in different locations in Europe, to get direct insights from there.
What surprised you the most when you started working at Visit Sweden?
How they all looked the same, haha! It is important to have different perspectives and backgrounds in order to make the right decision, I think. Something the management team is working on a lot now is precisely diversity in the workplace, which is very good.
